2. Visiting the site (server logs)

This website is served as static files through Cloudflare Pages. When you visit it, technically necessary data (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) is processed by Cloudflare in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). No further analysis takes place.

3. Contact form and email

If you use the contact form or write to me by email, the data you send (name, email address, the content of your message and any further details) is stored in order to handle your enquiry and to prepare possible collaboration. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).

The contact form currently runs through the service providerFormSubmit. The data you enter is transmitted to FormSubmit for this purpose and forwarded to me by email. Once a backend service of my own is in place, FormSubmit will be replaced and this policy updated accordingly.

The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

4. Retention period

Personal data is stored only for as long as it is needed for the respective purpose, or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply (for example under commercial or tax law).

5. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes the server log data described under point 2. Further information:cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

6. Embedded content and external links

This website embeds videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) and contains links to external platforms such as LinkedIn andGitHub, as well as to felix-paul.de andd-solve.de. As soon as you play an embedded video or follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. YouTube videos are loaded in privacy-enhanced mode where technically available.

You have the following rights towards the controller regarding your personal data:
